Washington, DC – Today Congressman Cleo Fields (LA-06) announced that his guest for President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress will be Kennedy Orr, President of the Student Government Association at Southern University and A&M College.
Congressman Fields accepted the Avery C. Alexander Civil Rights Award from the Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus. The award is named in honor of a former dedicated Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus (LLBC) member and honors an individual who has provided exemplary service by working diligently to raise the quality of life for African Americans in the areas of civil rights and policy reform.
Congressman Fields sits down with On The Record with Liam Combs to discuss his career in American politics and priorities for his return to Congress in the Democrat minority.
