Road conditions are expected to worsen rapidly as up to 8-10 inches of snow accumulates across Louisiana, and ice predicted to develop later this evening. Hazardous conditions will persist for many hours after the snowfall ends. The Louisiana Department of Transportation (DOTD) has closed certain interstate sites as a precautionary measure.
