Washington, DC – “Tariffs are a tax on the American people. President Trump imposing tariffs on our neighbors and allies will result in unnecessary hardships for American consumers and businesses. Under these tariffs grocery prices will go up, vehicle prices will go up, and consumer confidence will go down. If President Trump believes that there are ways to improve our trade relations with other countries, then he should sit down with world leaders and negotiate.
